- Mid-level –topical peels

Skin resurfacing treatments are designed to peel away the topmost layer of damaged skin to reveal the more youthful, healthy skin beneath. Whether the resurfacing is accomplished with a chemical peel, microdermabrasion or a laser, this underlying skin is tighter and more radiant.
With the variant depths, a variety of appearance problems can be specifically targeted. Depending on your needs, your doctor will recommend the resurfacing technique to give you the results you’re looking for. While the superficial resurfacing option is less invasive with a shorter recovery time, it may not produce the more dramatic appearance results of the deeper laser skin resurfacing. With laser skin resurfacing, top layers of damaged facial skin are removed with the help of a high tech laser.
