Liposculpture of the Neck

Moradi M.D. offers our San Diego patients liposuction of the neck, referred to as microliposculpture, to enhance the area and give your neck a more youthful contour. This procedure is done under tumescent anesthesia utilizing small cannulas. Only small, self-healing incisions that heal without scarring are used during this painless procedure. Complications are virtually nonexistent when doing these small areas of liposculpture.
The fat is removed by syringe technique and recovery is rapid with nearly no bruising. A tight garment is worn for 2 days; immediate return to work or play is permitted with only mild restrictions. The harvested fat can be used for micro-lipoinjection (fat transfer) techniques if desired.
The neck liposculpture procedure works well for the younger male or female with neck laxity and fat deposits, but not for having facial looseness. It is also the preferred procedure for those who cannot tolerate any facial incisions and wish to avoid face lifts.
