Permanent eyeliner and brows

Dr. Antle (me) has been doing permanent eyeliner since 1983. I taught courses in it for several years to other physicians and nurses. Over the years, the eyeliner and brow business has gradually migrated out of the surgeon’s office into the domain of the beauty shop, and independent home practitioner.
Although many of these practitioners do a good job, we continue to see absolute horror stories. Be warned! Many non medical personnel, doing permanent eyeliner, have caused scarring, injured eyes, and produced some really terrible results. In addition, the procedure is often extremely painful since they are unable by law to properly anesthetize the eyes.
At face beautiful, we treat this as surgical procedure. We sedate you, and numb the eyelids complete so that the procedure is virtually pain less. The results are awesome. In the consultation we color match to your eyes and brows. The cost in our office is actually less than what many times is charged at beauty shops and home salons.
It is much easier to place the pigment, than to remove it. Keep this in mind when you are selecting the practitioner to beautify your eyelids. As an added bonus, the procedure can often be done at the same time as blepharoplasty, making a dramatic beautification of the eyelids all in one swoop.
